Nestled in a convenient location, the Astor Inn offered essential amenities like a bar and breakfast service, although the restaurant was sadly closed during our visit. The room size was quite small and left little space to maneuver. The quirky bathroom layout felt outdated, which may be disappointing for some.

The room was clean, and I appreciated the comfortable bed and warm shower. The on-site restaurant was a great bonus, offering hearty meals, and the staff treated me with such warmth and friendliness.
The shower was tiny and had some mould. 🦠.

Thoroughly enjoyed the room on the upper level, my bed was exceptionally comfortable. Location: the hotel was close enough to the pub as well as the railway station and the hospital. There was cafe The Blessed Bean, that I found within 5 minutes' walk of the property.

There was a good choice of fab meals. The service was very good, the staff were helpful and attentive. The location was excellent, just next door to main shopping strip, Pubs, Restautants, and the center of town. Also, St Doulagh's Church was 4 km away from the hotel.

the upper-level room provided stunning views and an airy ambiance, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring.
I noticed that the Wi-Fi connection was occasionally spotty, which made it a bit challenging to stay connected. Despite this minor drawback, the overall experience was enjoyable .

It felt like I was sharing my space with a party, and sleep was impossible. Plus, the thin walls just amplified everything. Total nightmare!

We loved the location! Super close to the train station and just a short stroll to the main street. The staff were so friendly and cute, making our stay a bit better. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was a highlight; the steak was delicious and cooked perfectly. Plus, we appreciated the daily housekeeping which kept things feeling fresh!
Our romantic escape wasn’t all roses. The room was cramped and the layout was just awkward—seriously, who designs a shower door that opens behind the toilet? The air conditioning was ancient, and the furniture looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. Disappointing stains on the chair really didn't help set the mood either.

I had a fantastic stay that was well worth the money, with a clean and comfy room. The friendly staff made me feel right at home, and the location was super convenient with plenty of dining options nearby.
Breakfast offerings could use a few more diverse options.

The location was central, making it easy to explore the area. My room was cozy, clean, and surprisingly quiet despite being near the highway. The continental breakfast offered great value, and the friendly staff enhanced my experience. I also enjoyed the delicious dinner options, particularly the salad bar. Plus, the newly renovated rooms are modern and spacious.

Great location just minutes from the main area and a quick drive to the base. The breakfast was delicious and the staff friendly. Rooms are comfy, though some noise from the sun can be a bit much. A solid spot for a stay!
